Content Update - Ryanair

Edited

Since Ryanair implemented passenger verification for travellers booked via a third party back in the early summer (2023), we have been working with our technology partners to establish an alternative source to obtain Ryanair content for you.

We are pleased to announce that this work has been completed and friction free booking of Ryanair is now available via the COCO+ booking platform.

We are using the Ryanair authorised distribution route via the GDS (Global Distribution System). Ryanair, on some routes, do not offer their base fare via the GDS as they do via their own website.

What does this mean for the traveller?

  • From today, there is no longer the requirement to verify who the traveller is with photo ID.

  • The booking will appear in the traveller’s Ryanair account. We’ll send the airline the traveller's email as per their COCO+ Profile (business email).

  • Travellers will be notified direct by the airline of any disruption to their flight via email.

What does this mean for bookers?

  • You can now book flights with Ryanair on behalf of your traveller and all details will go straight to them.

  • Guest Traveller – add their email address under the passenger details at the payment page stage of booking and the same as Traveller information above will apply

What's available?

  • Basic Fare - small carry-on bag only

  • Regular Fare - Priority boarding and 2 cabin bags

  • Plus Fare - small carry-on, checked bag up to 20kg, reserved seat (specific rows)

  • Flexiplus Fare - all the perks apart from a checked bag

  • Seat Reservations at time of booking

How to book

Once you have completed your search criteria the different fare types are indicated on the left-hand side under the airline logo. Select your fare and select your seat where required.
